This hotel made our 25th Anniversary perfect!

The hotel is near the main train station (Termini) and at the end of the Via Nationale (a main street). It was beautiful ! Near to subway station and across from the cafe and fountain seen in the movie "Roman Holiday". The rooms were classic in decor and the staff very attentive. The bathroom lights were extremely dim, but the king size bed was extremely comfortable. We could not view the pool due to a business meeting. The bar was not open when we wanted a drink. The outdoor restaurant was expensive, but we walked just 1 mile to the Via Veneto and found many wonderful restaurants. We only had four days, but we fell in love with Rome and the Boscolo and can't wait to go back !

Wonderful Experience

We arrived here after leaving a not so plesant hotel in Florence. We were very satisfied. We arrived a little before our scheduled check in time and they apologized that the rooms were not ready (which was because we were early) and treated us to drinks and snacks as we waited. The staff was very attentive and very helpful on where to go and how to get around. The rooms were nice. Although the carpets had stains, you tend to over look it because everything else was so nice. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. The 'hotel manager' if that's what he is called was very attentive and made sure we were getting everything we needed. We had no A/C, but we slept with the windows open. We were up high enough that the outside noise wasn't all too bad. We could not have asked for a better experience. It was beautiful inside and out! Would definitely recommend!

worst experience

I agree with one reviewer that the hotel was visably beautiful, but ...The front desk showed us to the worst room possible and after insisting on seeing other rooms were we granted a visably better room, but it was very dirty. The carpets were filthy, pillows dusty and vetallation the same. The food was good, and the rooftop had potential had it been open. We stayed at many luxury hotels in italy on this visit, but this was by far the most expensive and the most disapointing. It is fine if you on at a convention, but if you are a seasoned luxury traveler you will be dissapointed.

Fantastic hotel: quiet, comfortable and beautiful rooms. There are many sites to see within walking distance of the hotel as well as good places to eat. It is also within walking distance to the train station. Metro stop is right outside of the hotel (as well as bus routes). I would definately go back to the Exedra again.

"beautiful hotel, poor service"

the physical beauty of this hotel is breath taking, it ends their, frount desk was slow and rude, never got room service until complaints to the manager forced them to fill ice and refeshments. Pool was very dirty and bar service was not available.
