Started staying here 8 yrs ago. The people in the entire hotel are great & friendly. Everytime we come back the bell-hops & waiter & waitresess remember us & are so nice. Always clean, great pool area & besides hurricann season, the beaches are great. Love staying here because it's in the middle of everything & they make our trip enjoyable everytime.
Great location, but under construction..

NH Krystal is located right on the point of the peninsula, so the views are spectacular. The rooms are pretty basic and sparsely furnished. The pools are nice and everything is clean. The hotel is under construction though, so the sound of drills and hammers is pretty constant. The staff does make an effort to sell packages, time-shares, etc. We learned to be very direct about not being interested and they left us alone. I would stay there again, but only in an ocean view room.
NH Krystal is a lot of fun

Me and my friend had a wonderful time in this hotel. It is a great place for young people. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes away from all the night clubs and discos. We had no concerns in terms of safety since there are safety boxes in each room. Yes, it is noisy in this hotel but that is a part of the party:))) I would visit this hotel again because it is not so expensive and the conditions are fine.
Not what I was expecting

The hotel is not bad but my major disappointment was that it doesn?t have beach! The ocean has covered the beach that they show on the pictures and you have to walk to the next hotel to get to the beach. The bathroom were outdated and the furniture in general. I didnt spend much time on the hotel so it was ok for me but if you are thinking to spend a lot of time or get an all inclusive package I will think twice. The main advantage is that is close to all the clubs and bars.

My boyfriend and I booked our trip last minute. We stayed at NH Krystal's Romantic Oceanfront suite. We were greeted upstairs by a nice English-speaking lady who informed us that we would have breakfast included, and wine with hor d'overs in the evening. Our room had champagne and chocolate cake when we arrived. The view was breath-taking, striking blue waters. The hotel is set right on the water. I guess that the tide was in because of a recent hurricane, because there was not a lot of beach/ sand area in front of the hotel itself. But, just a quick walk down and we had a nice sandy area. There is beach chairs and umbrellas situated in front of the water if you want to have drinks by the water. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. They are building a new building, so there was a bit of construction during the day. We didn't notice much because we were out and about. The room itself was a little smaller than I would imagine for a suite, but very nice. They had a flat screen TV and nice decorations. If you are looking for a cushy, soft bed, keep looking. My boyfriend had a hard time getting used to the hard bed. All in all though, it was a relaxing trip and the hotel was great for the money. Very romantic setting. Be warned though, it is right next to the CLUBS and can be loud at night if you are not out until the wee hours.
