Quote: We loved this hotel! It was in walking distance of the aquarium and lots of shops, but we still had a good view. There was a nice flowing stream below the balcony and we even saw baby ducks! The room was a little small, but it was clean with lots of... Read the full Best Western Twin Islands review

Quote: Checked in and went to room and within 5 minutes another family walks into room because they were given the same room. Went for walk came back and could not get into room because the clerk had taken us out of computer. Rooms were very small but... Read the full Best Western Twin Islands review

Good and bad

  • 3 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • February 8, 2010
Quote: The shower great and the room had a fridge and microwave. The gas fireplace was tiny, on a timer and smelled. The balcony overlooking the stream did not have a door to go outside.

Quote: Stayed at the Best Western Twin Islands Friday and Saturday nights Oct 17-18, 2008 and did NOT get a good night sleep either night. First night we just chalked it up to a noisy neighbor but the next night - at 1:00 AM the person in the room above... Read the full Best Western Twin Islands review

Quote: We stayed here Sept 9-12, 2008. We booked the good buy for the king bed, non smoking, whirlpool, and fireplace and expecting this when we got into our room the only thing it had was the king bed! The clerks did not know anything about it even after... Read the full Best Western Twin Islands review

  • August 12, 2008
Quote: My family first stayed at this hotel when I was a young girl...so I know it is an old hotel, but overall the upkeep is good...things a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. The only complaint I have, is that I requested a NON-smoking room, and when... Read the full Best Western Twin Islands review

Disappointed

  • June 23, 2008
Quote: I expected an attractive room with a whirlpool bath and a fireplace. The whirlpool was public and actually in the pool area! The fireplace was in the lobby-I think, since I never actually saw it! There were some old chairs on a patio/porch... Read the full Best Western Twin Islands review

Great Location

  • June 9, 2008
Quote: Likes: Liked the location of this motel. It was closer to the West side of Gatlinburg but within walking distance to practically everything you would care to see. Recommend Hose's next door for pretty good salsa and fajitas. The 15% off coupon for... Read the full Best Western Twin Islands review
