Halloween in Dublin

Dublin is incredible! The staff at The Ashling Hotel are very warm and friendly. The restaurant was great and the Guinness Lounge was a fun time, can't say enough about the staff. The room was cold, but they brought a space heater which helped. If you go in the winter, the room will be cold but they will do all they can. I will go back to Dublin and I will stay here again, close to the train line and a short walk to everywhere, also very safe.

Thank You Cara

Toured Ireland and my favorite hotel was the Ashling. The staff was wonderful, the place was very elegant, the price was very reasonable and defintly worth every euro. I am returning to Ireland very soon, will be staying in another city but will be making arrangements to visit Dublin and the Ashling as part of my trip.

Let me say that this is not the fanciest hotel but definitely one of the better ones! Full Irish Breakfast included with room...never went hungry! Access to public transportation....Tram, train or bus....everything right there! Staff....exceptional!!!! They will bend over backwards to help you! Friendly...caring....helpful!!! What more could you ask?! Close to almost everything and security....they buzz you into the hotel at night! No bums or beggars to worry about! Food was good...Guinness was good....time was GOOD! Not alot of money neither.

This older, conveniently located hotel is a good place to stay in Dublin. Hop on the tram and you are at O'Connel St or Temple Bar areas in minutes. Cozy pub has free wireless for guests, a real plus. The staff's service left a bit to be desired but was certainly adequate.

Not the Best Best Western

Though the staff was courteous enough-after several calls to the front desk to fix the strobe light in the bathroom and the lack of hot water and heat in our room (which we had booked as two double beds but had one double and a single)-several people appeared-brought in a heater and fixed the light and explained that the water needed to run for 5mins or more to achieve the temperature hot enough to shower. After that-all was well-a little shabby but great location. Near Train station and Luas.Temple Bar and museums.
