Although small, this resort was on par with some of the best I've stayed in. The room was cleaned daily and housekeeping made sure not to knock in the early morning. I had a two-bedroom unit; the first bedroom was right by the front door and the second overlooked the marina, a breathtaking view.
The fridge was stocked nicely, with a minibar with wine, local Kalib beer, and a variety of reasonably priced fruit juices and chips. Perfect for a late check-in.
You can also walk across the street to the sister resort and go out in the beach, or catch the shuttle.
The staff was GREAT, especially Peter, who was one of the guys who ran the shuttle and the boat. The front-desk staff was a bit gruff at first, but we warmed up to each other, and they were very helpful in making calls to find taxis and a store where I could get the local fabric.
Within walking distance of the Atlantis with casino, about 1 1/2 miles or so. Also, there's a restaurant on-site, but the timeshare is in walking distance of other restaurants as well. Check "Activity" for my activity reviews and other for my restaurant reviews.
Owners were very hands-on, and the matriarch of the property could regularly be seen walking her dog. The owners also hold a "Welcome to the Property" cocktail hour. Food ran out quickly, but it was tasty, with an open bar to boot.
Although there is construction next door, it wasn't disturbing at all. There's no elevator on-site, but it's only three flights of steps, very manageable. Also, there's either a shuttle or a ferry running to town several times daily, so you can always get to where you need to go.
I HIGHLY recommend this resort.
