This resort is absolutely incredible! They have thought of everything! We stayed at the Royal Towers which is in the center of everything. Hotel is top quality, nothing was left out very posh but still comfortable. Rooms and general area are extremely clean, staff extremely polite, friendly and helpful....Only downside is the price of food! But, would do it all over again, and again!!!!
Wonderful Experience

We stayed at the Royal Tower May 24-30
Pros: The whole place is so beautiful top to bottom. This place is like a Vegas hotel with Sea World x 100 all in this small island. The staff was very nice, rooms are always clean. Also for all the ladies who likes Gucci there is no sales tax =) although prices are still the same online.
Cons: Like everybody says the food is ridiculously expensive. Bahamas does not have sales tax and import 85% of their food from the US, so all food is charged with an automatic 15% gratuity. The first 2 days we had to get over paying $3 for a Yoplait yogurt from Plato?s then you walk 5 steps to the cashier and they charge you .45 cents for gratuity!!!! We have never paid $11 for a Jamba Juice, $7 for a small hotdog, $3 for a can of Coke or $35 for a medium pizza. We did go downtown to Poop Deck where they charged us $90 for 2 cokes, a glass of milk, 2 pieces of chicken strips, a plate of shrimps and a plate of conch which wasn?t even that good. Since then we decided to eat at the Market Place buffet at the hotel which was about $120 but at least the food is so much better. What did help was we brought a box of Capri Sun for our daughter and bags of goldfish and pretzels that she ate for her snack. We also bought 2 gallons of water across the street from Poop Deck. After 2 days we figured might as well enjoy the trip and stop comparing prices since we will only be paying it for a few more days. All in all very beautiful but we won?t go back.

I just recently stayed at the Royal Towers in Atlantis with my boyfriend and we loved it. The people there are so friendly and there was so much to do, we never had a boring day. I would recommend eating at the Markplace located in the hotel. The prices are a little high but you get all you can eat and the food is great. I can't wait to return we are going to try and make this our every year vacation trip. We stayed for a week and came back very well rested with great pictures and tans. I highly recommend staying at the Royal Towers you will have a great time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The hotel lives up to its name, just came back from spring break 09 and the hotel was beautiful. The service could be better, I think that is because the servers get 15% gratuity regardless so some of them really are not as attentive as they could be. We opted out of the meal plan option because your forcing yourself to eat on their property and you still have to pay the gratuity on your bill. Take a cab to town and eat at the Fish fry section, the food was great and it is reasonable. If you decide to stay on the resort Bimini's and Murray's were great choices with reasonable prices for the meals....Bring your own snacks/and your favorite alcoholic beverage and you won't be disappointed, because some of the drink prices at the bar are overpriced. The water activities are great......

The Royal Towers Hotel at Atlantis on Paradise Island, Bahamas, was just that -- Paradise! The lagoons, pools, waterpark, grounds, etc., were a vision. The kids had a blast, and so did I! The beaches were gorgeous, there were opportunities to do all sorts of fun water sports, i.e. snorkeling, banana boat riding, parasailing, water trike riding, etc. The aquarium was amazing, as was the Predator Lagoon! We couldn't have had a better time in the Bahamas, and plan to return to the same hotel next year for our vacation! The staff was unbelievably helpful and nice - did not have one bad experience! If you are going to the Bahamas, please remember, all food items in the Bahamas are IMPORTED, since it's an island, so food is very expensive. It was all worth it! Security was top notch, and the food at the different restaurants at the resort was amazing!
