Description: The Concourse is a good place to stay if you want to be close to the action. Located just one block from the Capitol Square and State Street, the hotel boasts arguably the best location in Madison. The rooms are nice and large. Nothing spectacular but clean and comfortable. I would rate the Hotel 3 stars and similar to most Hilton properties. The downstairs restaurant, called the Bistro, is good but you have approximately 20 or more choices within 6 blocks of the hotel so blow it off and go explore. The one exception is the Bistro''s Sunday brunch which is one of the best in Madison.
