The hotel itself was clean, room was clean, but on the smaller side. I went with my husband for Valentine's Day, for one night. We bought the spa package, which includes one night, $100 spa credit(applied towards any spa product or service) and $50 breakfast credit. Didn't get to use the spa because they were "fully committed" (as they liked to say at that hotel a lot). I got a manicure at the salon, but was told that a manicure was not a part of a spa service, so I paid $55 for a regualr manicure. Never got to have the comlimentary breakfast, because the line was out the door, and they were "fully committed" for the entire day. We tried to make a dinner reservation at one of their four restaurants, (it was valentine's day after all), and we tried to do this two days before our arrival. Again, we were told that all 4 restaurants are fully booked for dinner on that day. Ok, we ended up ordering in room diniing, the food came in 1 hour, half of the order was totally wrong. We called them back, explained that it's wrong, they said we'll send the order right away. This took another 35 min, and when the food arrived again, it was again wrong. And, before that, when we decided to have a quick lunch at their cafe/grill/bar place, we ordered a chicken caesar, which took exactly 1 hour, came with the chicken still pink, was sent back, then had to wait another 30 minutes for them to cook the chicken, so we got fed up and left. This was the worst hotel expereince of my life, by far. I was extremely disappointed with the staff, the service, the food, and will never be back there again.
Think Again

Just returned from Thanksgiving Weekend at the St Regis. The property is nice and clean. Location is not as desirable as the nearby Ritz, it is not on the beach but has a beach available on other side of highway. Has VERY long hallways, 25 rooms long. Ordered "surf and turf" only to be told they were out of both lobster and steak. What kind of hotel is this? Braekfast was free, but it took 30 minites at checkout for them to actually make it free (just in cas you didn't check your bill. This was not a disaster, but not a five star experience by any means

my husband took me here as a surprise! i loved the rooms and we ate at the stonehill tavern restaurant, the atmosphere made me feel like we were just dating again!
i spent a day at the spa and somehow they knew it was my anniversary and i had a card and gift waiting in a locker! my massage was one of the best i've ever had!
While i used the spa, my husband went golfing and had nothing but good things to say about the course and how nice it was, with ocean views! i hinted to him at coming back next year- ha ha!
