The staff people at the check in desk at the above hotel were the most inattentive people I have ever encountered in my travels. This attitude continued throughout our stay. We actually felt they could not be bothered with the guests and were just passing time until they went off duty. Also, although the rooms were clean and large, the noise from the highway nearby was not a good thing . I would not stay at another Crown Plaza property.

Great beds...I never travel anywhere without my pillow, but didn't have to take it out of the car. The rooms were quite spacious, although the bathroom a little small. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and service was excellent. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Asheville.

Old re-worked holiday inn that was poorly re-done

A 6" by 4' piece of molding fell off the wall of my room. Maintenance came up immediately and checked the molding over the bed to ensure that I would be safe. Molding was not fixed during my stay. Also the fire alarm went off at 4:30 a.m., certainly not the hotel's fault, but the announcement was difficult to hear as was the "all clear" announcement. The hotel was not what I consider a resort.

checking in to the hotel the person behind the counter was a little confused with our resurvations after that we spoke with another person and all problems were corrected and a bottle of wine.we had all tickets and easy to follow directions printed.breakfast buffet was good and a chef for omlets.the bill was accurate .the staff greated us every time upon entery.
