Second stay not so good

I stayed at this hotel a year ago, for one night, and thought it was pretty decent for the low cost. The room we had was big and clean, with a nice bathroom. So when I needed to stay in the area again, I booked a room there. This time we were put in the way back of the property. The view from our window was a barbed wire fence and run-down elementary school. There was trash and beer bottles and cans strewn outside the main entrance door. The room was pretty good -- although we were there for less than 10 hours. It was relatively clean; however, the bathroom was sparse, with no place to put toiletries. The shower was wheelchair-equipped, which meant no place to put soap, shampoo, etc in the shower. (We did not need or request an ADA-compliant room). also, They were out of milk at 6:30 AM in the breakfast area. I would stay here agin only if we could have a room facing the pool/courtyard. The ones in the back are pretty scary.

we stayed here for 3 nights 4 days hotel room was very large and very clean! we LOVED it! Only complaint the shower water is very chloriney!

America's Best Value Inn is NOT America's Best Value....Several of the amenities listed on the website don?t exist! There is no Room Service!! The Shuttle wasn?t running. The Wi-Fi didn?t work. The Rooms are dark, dirty, small and smell funny...I smoke and they smell funny to me...that should tell you something. I requested extra towels when I checked in?they called to tell me at 2AM that they couldn?t find extra towels...what kind of hotel can?t find extra towels??
YUCK!! Dirty unsatisfactory.

Boy, were we disappointed! Rooms felt really dirty. There was no microwave as advertised. Coffee pot didnt work. Pool was unusable. Geographical area in Norfolk was scary. Paper thin walls and people yelling all night. We felt very unsafe and left before we originally intended because it was just too unsatisfactory! Very Subpar. Will avoid ever reserving a room sight unseen from this chain again.

Everyone here was very helpful. The housekeeping staff were very helpful and did a good job. If we had a question example -on where something was, they helped us find it or looked it up for us!! Would stay there again for sure!!!!
