Definetly NOT 5 STAR

The hotel is not build as a five star property. No Marble anywhere.
The Pool is tiny.
Some mornings there were no fresh towels for the beach.
Flies all over the food!!
Poor fruit selection.
Food was terrible in general!!
Example: One day I asked for sliced avocado the waitress told me that such a thing is impossible because their avocado comes from a can.
The "cyber cafe" consisted of 2 computers. Internet was down 3 out of the 5 days I was there.
Hoestly I could go on and on about how bad this place is. To top it all off it's not cheap!!!!
Heavenly

My husband and I were treated like royality from the minute we arrived. Not only were the amenities outstanding, the staff was at our service 24 hours a day. The buffet was great for breakfast and lunch, and the remaining 7 restaurants were our choices for dinner... My husband even got a manicure and pedicure (a first) so I know it was special... The deep-tissue massage was out of this world. The people were fantastic, the food great, and the staff was friendly and accommodating... Kudos to X, the bartender in the main restaurant. She was great. Will we be back????? You bet...
Wonderful

This was a great place visit. It exceeded our expectations. Our stay was 4 days and 7 days would have been perfect.

This is an all inclusive resort with a private beach that borders a public stretch of beach. The bus ride from Montego Bay was about 90 minutes but very comfortable in an air conditioned bus.
The grounds are breathtaking but not a great picture opportunity location as it has nude beaches, which have signs posted to discourage photography. There is a gym and a spa. I tried the spa for a pedicure and the ladies were real nice even with me giggling like a school girl through the entire treatment.
The meal diversity was GREAT! There is a Japanese hibachi-styled restaurant, an Italian bistro, a formal romantic restaurant, and of course the buffet. The buffets were amazing. One night I had grilled lobster. I know what you're thinking buffet lobster? It was grilled on the patio and was the best lobster I can remember having.
This property is next to a sister property Hedonism II. One night there was an invitation to a party at that property. The entertainment included a fire spinning acrobat show, a trapeze show, and live music. All on the sand! I have to admit that I may be prude. The event attire completely surprised me. After a short time I felt like a pervert, gawking at the relaxed if not non-existent clothing. Maybe I am getting old? Other guests were comfortable and seemed to be very friendly.
Back at the Grand Lido I felt more comfortable. The only real problem I had with the Grand Lido was that we were to have options for "excursions." Upon arriving we were told to relax, get settled, and we could book the excursions in the morning. Just what I wanted to hear! Of course the next morning all the excursions’ spots were booked and no alternatives were offered. When asked if one could be purchased options were abundant.
I ended up choosing the canopy tour and a shopping tour. Both were well worth twice the price. Of course this is Jamaica and the staff were kind, accommodating, and patient.

We absolutely loved our stay at Grand Lido! The staff were wonderful-great attitudes! The beach was perfect. It wasn't busy and very private. No harrassment at all! The food was amazing and the drinks great! We wouldn't have changed a thing! The only thing we would do differently in the future is bring extra sunscreen. We left with 2 medium size bottles and had to buy 2 more while we were there. Don't miss a trip into town to do some shopping. Otherwise just stay at the resort and enjoy the beach and the staff! A truly relaxing time. Grand Lido was everything we were hoping for a so much more!
