A great hotel in Munich!

With the S8 you are at ...Read more In early June, my husband and I a few days in Munich. The hotel is located just a few tram stops from the airport. Therefore it may be of interest to all who are looking for a stopover. The accessibility of the town is great. With the S8 you are at the Marienplatz in about 20 minutes. From the hotel to the S-Bahn station its only 2 minutes walk.

We as the early birds to start in early in the holiday. So we were already half 11 at the hotel. Normally the rooms are from 15 clock available which has not held against us at the front desk and our room was already ready. The check-in went smoothly. We got the room cards and even a few hints for breakfast and then we could see our room. The whole process took just 5 minutes.

The room had everything you need. It was large enough to be able to move with two people. Our room was equipped with the following things: Double bed, desk, chair, chair, large wardrobe, wardrobe, storage compartment for bags and suitcases, small minibar as night tables, enough lighting, mini kitchen. In addition wardrobe and ironing board and iron were found. On the desk were a little out new TV (but it works perfectly) and a coffee (of course with coffee, mugs and other accessories).

The colourful design of the room appealed to me. The floor was provided with a textile covering on which I could not identify any stains. The furniture was very clean. In this space we felt comfortable, even though we were only there to sleep. Oh yes ... sleep ... the mattresses were not very hard, but not too soft. I certainly had no sleep problems.

The bathroom was also of sufficient size. The design with white tiles made the room seem very sterile. Unfortunately there was again no way to store clothing somewhere. That bugs me in hotels again and again. Otherwise the bathroom consisted of a toilet, a sink, a shower of good size, large mirrors and a height-adjustable magnifying mirror. Liquid soap was available in a dispenser at the sink, including shower gel / shampoo in the shower. A hair dryer was also there that worked well. The cleaning of rooms and bathroom was otherwise reasonably ok in the room I had nothing wrong,
Already at 06:30 clock, there was a daily breakfast buffet in the restaurant. The first morning we felt very blessed. The restaurant was busy due to a tour group almost completely full. The staff was unfortunately a bit overwhelmed and also represented only in small numbers. But we got noticed and they still had a table for us and apologised for the late response. From here on everything went fine the breakfast was quiet large and refilled almost the instant something was gone. Really good and everything tasted delicious.
At some point, is at the departure and check-out you have to go through. This too is at Hotel Park Inn München Ost no problem. Everything was in order and paying with credit card went fine.
We had a lovely time and think it’s a ideal hotel with great service and great connection to the town.
