We stayed during race week with three kids. I found Shoreline to be very clean, staff was friendly, and room was quite comfortable and large enogh for all five of us. Location is great as they are on the quieter side of Daytona beach. This place has been around for long time and kept up well. Not a big huge hotel, but lots of real estate with one and two story buildings. Felt like a little neighborhood, every time i got up with my coffee and went outside there was someone to greet you with a good morning be it staff or fellow guest. Positivley the best experience I have ever had in my ten plus years of coming to Daytona. This will be our new home away from home when we visit this area.

We stayed in one of the cottages and we were very happy with our oceanfront cottage. We were greeted at check-in by a very friendly and helpful person. We asked about dining in the area and she was very helpful with that. The staff was also very friendly. We enjoyed being able to stay in for dinner on one of the nights as the weather was quite rainy that evening. The bed was very comfortable and there were lots of spare blankets and pillows. There was sufficent clothing storage. The bathroom was clean with a nice big shower. There were complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. The view of the ocean was really great. It was nice to be able to walk on the beach and also stay poolside. The pool was very well kept and there were lots of chairs to use for sunning. We were very pleased with the location. We were close to shopping, grocery stores, laundramat and lots of dining. Many of the local attractions are also very close. We enjoyed our stay and will go back again. We would recommend to anyone looking for a good vacation value.

I don't know about the previous reviews on here, but our stay at Shoreline was excellent! True, the cottages are old, but I guess they must be under new ownership or something because they were absolutely GORGEOUS! Not to mention the staff was very courteous and welcoming, and we felt very at home! Housekeeping was in every morning and the place was cleaner than and motel/hotel that we have ever stayed in! I would recommend this place to a family with children or a couple looking for a romantic getaway! It is very private and doesn't give that "commercial" feel that most motels do. They cottages are PERFECT for honeymooners! Not to mention the view is incredible! A+++++++ Thank you Shoreline for making our honeymoon unforgettable! We look forward to staying with you again!
