Great location, but that's it.

Great location, close to the subway and in wal;king distance to the historical part of Vienna. The bad sides: 1) beds are VERY uncomfortable - so soft that you feel you sink in them - I couldn't sleep more than a couple of hours a night and got up with painful back. 2) no air conditioning - Vienna in June is quite hot and this made my stay even worse. 3) no extras - no fridge, no water heater, no alarm clock, nothing.

my mother and i were happy w/ the hotel. large for a european hotel. easy walk from the westbahnhof train station 7-9 minute walk.excellent ice cream on the way to the hotel.train runs in front of hotel. a clean hotel.

within walking distance of the train station. great coffee shop across the street. check room before accepting it.there might be a better one but they are large. old world atmosphere. nice staff.
