Terrific boutique hotel with comprehensive services in center of city.

Small hotel with very comfortable rooms that are well-maintained. Firm mattresses, excellent continental breakfasts with hot scrambled eggs & Argentine breakfast meats, and very accomodating staff. Compact hotel elevators (4 person capacity), European-design furnishings, and 6 rooms per floor gives this hotel a very cozy feeling. Easy walking distance to some of the best things in BA and Florida (street tango dancers) street with every shopping possibility you could want. Easy access to central city sites, main autobus terminal and train station (very limited intracountry train services in Argentina).

Great Location, Good Value

Excellent location downtown near two pedestrian-only shopping streets. Within walking distance of most tourist destinations in the central city. Front desk spoke English and was extremely helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Breakfast included excellent fresh fruit salad. I did not eat other meals there because of the many restaurants within a few blocks. The only complaint is that the actual street that the hotel is on is a dump but that is probably why the price is lower than other comparable hotels. I would stay there again.

Winter vacation in Buenos Aires

The front desk was excellent. I asked for a back room and got one. The room was not large but it was large enough. The bath was very clean and worked well- the cleaning staff was very good. I liked the personnel a lot, they were friendly and helpful at all times. The mini bar had some stale food so we only ate a little of that. The walls in the room could have used a painting but other than that we were happy with the room. We enjoyed the breakfast, it was tasty and again the staff was very friendly. The outside area around the hotel is a little run down but we never felt in danger and the nearby Florida and Lavalle pedestrian streets full of shopping, restaurants etc. were great. The Tango Bar/Museum across the street provided a fun evening. The hotel is within walking distance of the Plaza Mayor and the the subway, cabs were plentiful- I recommend this hotel.

The Dazzler Tritone was a good choice for our stay in Buenos Aires. The location is good for shopping, sightseeing, and access to transportation. The staff was friendly and helpful and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast each morning was very good and the internet access (free) was nice. The hotel is located on a busy street and the traffic noises were sometimes not desirable, but it wasn't a big problem for us since we were worn out each day and slept soundly anyway.
