There are a couple of strong minuses to this hotel - it is not that close to the Central train station - about 15 mins by foot, and the rooms are very smoky. Before staying at this Suite Novotel hotel, we stayed in 9 other hotels in Germany and all were able to accomodate our non-smoking room request. Now, Suite Novotel is much larger than our other hotels - about 20 floors, but although we begged the staff to provide us with a non-smoking room, we were told that no non-smoking room was available (the hotel was half empty). The bedding smelled awful and the whole room, because of the smoke stench gave out this desperate, old image. But the room was clean. The hotel is located in a colorful, ethnic little district with a lot of s.x shops. So... be prepared...
