This hotel was conveniently located near to the Temple Meads Britrail Station in Bristol. It was an American style hotel and was the size and quality of an American Marriott hotel. We had been staying in quaint English hotels for several days which were fine but really enjoyed the relative size and amenities of a larger hotel. It was clean and spacious and a good value for the area. We particularly enjoyed the more modern bathroom facilities which older English hotels sometimes lack. There was good shopping within 3 blocks in the Cabot Centre and good restaurants in walking distance.
