Room service is prompt. Food is desirable. Staff (still) has genuine smiles and not the made up plastic masks! Location wise, the best location in the whole city.
Really Good Food

We tried the sautéed alpaca steak at the restaurant at the Libertador while we were staying there and it did not taste like chicken, it tasted better! The rooms were pretty cool too, we went with a couple of friends, and they all seemed to be quite happy.
San Isidro, a Place to Rest
If you go to Lima, pick a hotel in San Isidro, it is a very quiet area. I stayed at the Libertador. Its surroundings are very nice; you can go out and walk around calmly. It is close to several places you can visit. My room was very nice. The hotel has a restaurant, bar; we tried Pisco Sour and it was very delicious. The staff is very friendly and helped us make the best choices for our tour around Lima.
Fantastic, I’ll Come Back

I was here for three nights in November and I loved it. The staff was incredibly nice all the time, always disposed to help us out. And they spoke very good English which was very helpful, given that our Spanish is not "bueno".
In general, Peruvian food is very good, but the food at the hotel exceeded all of our expectations. We loved it! And even though there are something that could be better, over all, my stay there went perfectly well.
Great Conference Room
I was in Lima for less than 24 hours. I had to go there to give a seminar, so I booked the conference room at the Libertador hotel, as well as a room. Since I had such a limited time this was very helpful and prudent. The room was just right for its purpose and it had an amazing view which was very impressive. The staff was very friendly and helpful the whole time. And I had no complaints about the accommodations. Lima seemed like a very interesting city, but unfortunately i mostly just saw the hotel.
