The hotel Ibis was our stop before our recent trip to Pathos, Cyprus, departing from London Gatwick. The hotel was booked in a rash move to spend Christmas night near the airport ready for an early December 26 departure. We had a package that meant the hotel was £42 a night for us both and £40 for a week's parking, including free transfers to the airport terminal and back, which is a very reasonable deal.
The hotel is spacious and modern having been built in 2000. The room was ample, with a big bed and plenty of room for our cases. We took a Christmas picnic with us, but the restaurant did look nice. The highlight of the stay was the bathroom, which was very space age. It was a small step up into a room that had a huge shower with wonderful hot water, as well as the usual toilet and wash basin. The room also had a TV and coffee/tea facilities, which were ideal for the morning to tide us over until breakfast at the airport.
