Great Time in Aruba

The hotel was great and so was the weather. The activities at the beach were wonderful...I had to get use to all the iguanas walking around, but after that everything was fine. The only complaint that I had is that the hotel did not have any dining for after hours. After a late night of gambling or partying you tend to get a little hungry.

Aruba was fantastic and the hotel was outstanding. Comfortable and clean room and bed. Great pool (especially the waterfall). Food was expensive, but what can you expect from such a great hotel.

Excellent hotel and rooms. The 2 Marriot time-share clubs adjancent to the hotel makes it very crowded. The pool was very unkept. Always cloudy and merky.

We stayed in an adjoining suite with the owner in the Master Condo. It was truly awesome. Every utensil for cooking meals were furnished. Our terrace overlooked the pool and lush tropical gardens. We watched cruise ships out on the ocean arriving in the mornings. Awesome sunsets on the beach. Wonderful local people. We even got stuck in the sand trying to drive on the other side of the island. A local pulled us out and brought us sandwiches and drinks until truck arrived.Casino entertainment was great!

Best Things Nearby:
The beach is the best thing nearby. The Aruba Marriott is a full-service resort. There are timeshares on-site, but we stayed at the hotel. The restaurants and service at the Resort are excellent, and the Aruba Marriott Resort has been rated by Conde Nast Traveler as the top beach resort in the world. We found it to be a fabulous place to stay.
Best Things About the Resort:
Everyone on the staff at the Aruba Marriott is very helpful, courteous, and friendly. They sincerely want you to have a good time at the Resort and work very hard to see that you do.
Resort Experience:
We stayed in the hotel, not the timeshares. The Aruba Marriott Resort is absolutely beautiful. Your vacation can be whatever you want it to be. You can relax and enjoy the beach and the pool, or you may choose to visit local attractions. If you like to shop, there are lots of wonderful stores right there at the Marriott. The same is true of fine restaurants. You can choose from the elegant to the casual. Marriott has it all. When I am asked what the Aruba Marriott is like, I have to respond that "it's wonderful!"
