Best Things Nearby:
Atlantic Beach, with its raised piers for fishing and LONG stretch of sandy beach is a must, even if it's only for a day. Tryon Palace in the old part of New Bern gives a glimpse into the area's history.

Best Things About the Resort:
Roomy accomodations, great lounging pool, on-site marina, reasonable and delicious restaurant. Helpful staff will make golf reservations and spend time giving you directions around the area.

Resort Experience:
Spacious townhouses with large kitchens surrounded by ponds, gardens and golf courses. The resort is definitely off the beaten path, with the nearest grocery store a good 30 minute drive. But is a relaxing place to "hang out" and ideal for teenagers who want to make new friends.

Best Things About the Resort:
This timeshare was very large and clean. We had plenty of room for our family of three kids, ourselves, and a set of in-laws. The facility had a washer and dryer (which we took advantage of almost every day) and a nice hot tub. We thought it was great!

Resort Experience:
It was quiet, comfortable, and beautiful. We sat right on the water and enjoyed many meals on the deck. The pool was perfect for us and we even took a ride out on the paddleboats. Our evening were filled with golf, tennis, walking, and just enjoying our week together!

Best Things Nearby:
Most "vacation" sites, aren't nearby. But, there are a lot of on-site things to do.

Best Things About the Resort:
Swimming, indoor and outdoor, a nice games room, miniture golf, fishing (a few steps off your deck), exercise equipment, and golf.

Resort Experience:
Peaceful, quiet, relaxing! Plenty of room for a strung-out family (kids ages 17,14,9, and 3). Rooms were large enough, plenty of bathrooms (2 1/2), perfect for a family. The boys took the loft, above the 2nd Bedroom, which the girls took, and they shared the bath just off the bedroom. Master Bedroom had it's own bathroom, (and it's own floor). The washer and Dryer in the condo, and the dishwasher, made things easier for mom.

Dad and the boys especially enjoyed the fishing just off our deck. All enjoyed the indoor pool, because of the unseasonably cold weather. We especially enjoyed the wildlife just outside our door! Geese, ducks, and squirrels! The 2 TV's (Living room and Master Bedroom) made it easier for a large family to not argue. :)

We cann't emphasize the peace, quiet, and relaxation we truly enjoyed. We wish we could have remembered, and tryed some of the games planned, but unfortunately either forgot, or were just too late!

The condo could have used a little more cleaning, but was acceptable.
