A Week In Paradise

This is most assuredly one of the most beautiful resorts anywhere. We were stunned the moment we entered the property. This vacation was special for us - rest, relax and celebrate our 20th Anniversary. The time spent there was nearly perfect. The only problems had to do with the bed and the restaurants but neither was critical. The bed was incredibly hard - we called Room Service and they ended up adding 5 or 6 cushions/pillow-top pads to the bed. That sounds like a lot but they were not thick at all - actually very compressed. They helped a little but the bed was still not as soft and comfortable as we would have liked. A 4 inch foam topper would probably have solved the problem but we also understand that the humidity prohibits foam toppers from being a likely solution due to the risk of mold. As for the restaurants, breakfast and lunch was very good but, in the evening the restaurants shift to a fixed menu to offer meals in line with various ethnic styles. The food was good but it was inconsistent. In other words, you can order the same dish two nights in a row in the same restaurant and quality, presentation, even taste is not comparable. We tried this in two different restaurants and it was the same in each - inconsistent from one night to another. Personal opinion - they may be trying to be too haute cuisine. Simple and ethnically correct would have been more elegant and in line with the world-class image they want you to take away from Aventura. That said, go there! We will be back - I am ready to return right now and we have only been home for one day!

Best Honeymoon Ever!

My husband & I just returned from the Aventura Spa Palace on May 10,08. We couldn't believe how nice the resort was and how pleasant all of the employees were. Everyone here was so nice, the resort was clean at all times! The tours that they offer were really good, I would definatley recommend the Paradise Snorkling. The tours guides are great too, they make sure you see everything. You must try the Oriental resturant is was our favorite (my husband loves sushi!!) Would highly recommend to any couple. It was a dream come true.

Married at Aventura Spa Palace

One word: Perfect. I read hundreds of reviews for Aventura Spa Palace while deciding on it as a place for my destination wedding and after reading some was concerned. Please believe me when I say that Aventura Spa Palace is a world class facility and I highly recommend this property. I have been to some pretty nice resorts prior to visiting Aventura, but now, those resorts don't even compare to the beauty and cleanliness of this property. The staff was awesome, food was quite good (despite what many reviews said), and my wedding was perfect! We got married in a beautiful gazebo overlooking the ocean. Thanks again to the wedding planners who made my special day just that! They helped me pick out flowers, the cake, and even decorated our room the night of the wedding and served us breakfast in bed the next morning. Every aspect of this resort and our experience exceeded my expectations (which were pretty high!) All of our guests were also amazed by Aventura Spa Palace! If I had to find something to complain about it would be that the beds were on the hard side.

Amazing stay at Aventura Spa Palace - Our 5th time!!

My husband and I have stayed at the Aventura Spa Palace 5 times in the last 5 years and I must say, we WILL keep going back! We did buy into the timeshare and actually purchased 2 full Presidential Premier packages.... It is so nice to have that home away from home feeling. When you are an owner you are treated like royalty! Being there a week as an owner gave us for FREE, no extra charges, all of our tours (FREE), all of us received a complete Manicure, Pedicure and Massage (FREE), we also had personal concierge service, FREE transportation to and from the airport. We sell our extra timeshare weeks. This last trip was for 3 girls (my 2 sisters and myself). We loved the quiet north pool area (Spa Palace), the south pool is a little louder and has a lot more activities. We like it that there was a choice, quiet & relaxed, or fast & fun... This made for a nice overall selection, plus they have a lap pool and a cross current pool as well for those that might want that type of thing. We were there the first week of April and it was wonderful! The weather was warm, but not blistering hot, the pools are heated by the sun, so as the day gets warmer so do the pools :)... The staff are incredible.. They all are friendly, courteous, and go out of their way to help you with anything!! I always tip even though it is included, mainly because that, in my opinion is showing gratitude for them going above and beyond. They work incredible long hours (14-18 hrs a day, 6-7 days a week), and they are always smiling. A dollar or two really goes a long way.

2nd. time around was great.....but

I have to start out by saying that we had a great time at ASP. The facilities were very good. The pools, lagoons, grounds, buildings and rooms are nearly immaculate. The staff's extremely courtesous, friendly and aims to please. There's plenty of activities and entertainment, if you want it. The Food: breakfast & lunch buffets were excellent The Ala Cartes:had best meals at Mundaca(Steakhouse),Momonohana(Asian), and Ventanas(dinner buffet). La Hacienda (Mexican) and La Trattoria (Italian) were Decent. Didn't eat at La Huerta (California Light). Room Service was also good. That being said, we stayed here two years ago and there's few issues that weren't there before. Like: Room service, used to have a very good Fillet Mignon now you get a piece of skirt streak.A major down grade. Housekeeping tried to blow off cleaning the room a few times. It was nothing a quick didn't take of, but this didn't happen before. Also couldn't get a Ribeye all week at the italian or steak house. Not good. Still overall our stay at the ASP was a positive experience.
