We stayed last November 2007, the resort looked like it had alot to offer but alot of the resort was not operating many closed off areas. The rooms were very high end and we did contact the resort during our stay and after we got back by letter about our dissatisfacton in the half operational resort and not much to do after 10 o'clock. For the price we paid for the trip and the fact that the resort didn't even have the concideration to adress our concerns we would not recomend staying here again. This resort fell short of our standards and expectations of a 5 star resort,it should be a 3 star.
LOVE IT!!

My husband and I went here for our honeymoon in August, and this was the best vacation we have ever had. I do not have a single complaint. We have never been treated so well. Our room was amazing and beautiful, and WOW the food was amazing! The La Hacienda, (Mexican restaurant) Was our fav. We ate here 3 out of the 5 nights we were here. We loved the fresh guacamole they make right in front of you, the waiters were outstanding. We even requested the same waiter each time. We took advantage of a couple of the tours that were included, and it was super easy, and it is exactly as its advertised all inclusive tours. We just signed up for the ones that were included, and then went, and didn't pay a dime. You can leave a tip if you like, which my husband and I always did, its really hard not too, theses people are just outstanding. They were so kind! We really can't complain about anything, the room was clean, the bed was super duper comfy, we would go to dinner and every night when we would get back to our room our beds would be turned down and the tv would be on a classical music station (I think they do this for everyone not just honeymooners unless you have the dot not disturb sign out) Our rooms were cleaned everyday, the room service was quick and tasted good. We never ever got asked or hasseled by anyone about timeshares The pools, bars, and lagoons were amazing also. I also went to the spa one day and WOW is all I can say! WONDERFUL PLACE!

The service and friendliness of the staff was terrific. The SPA was well worth the price. Good variety of types of foods and it was all pretty good. Great drinks and room service. It was a beautiful resort and quite large. No waiting or reservations for any restaurant. It is very near the Dolphin Habitat and I highly recommend the excursion to swim with the dolphins. We were there July 5-12, 2008 for a family get together and it wasn't as hot as I was afraid it would be with the nice breezes. Big pools and it was almost like we had the resort to ourselves. The drive from the airport was long but worth it. The only thing that we all would change is a better way to identify which buildings we were in. Because it is so large and the rooms all look alike a couple of us got lost trying to find our rooms; however there are phones every so often so you can call for help. We would definately return.

I went here on my honeymoon and we absolutely loved it. We were eating Filet Mignon and Sushi by the end of the week after days out in the sun, by the pool. We thought the food was great, the room-service and pool-side service were awesome and the rooms were so nice. The staff was extremely friendly and always smiling. The evening entertainment was fun and you really could spend a week here without ever leaving the resort. We took the excursion to Tulum and enjoyed it, but it was really hot. If you do something liket that - wear a hat, bring a back pack with water and sun screen, and bring some comfortable shoes. Also, if you hold out on going to the time-share - some people were getting $ in spa credits just to attend. Overall, excellent - above and beyond expectations.
