Absolutely Beautiful!

This place took my breath away from the moment we got there. The grounds are beautiful, I loved having a hammock on my balcony. The food is great! The staff are wonderful as well...I really can't say enough good things about this resort!

Really a couples resort, but if you want to take a girls trip or family trip you can still have a good time here. My Aunt and I took a girls trip but we were never made to feel uncomfortable around all the couples. There was also a senior mother and her adult son there and several other groups of friends on a girls weekend. I was surprised. Everything at this resort was above and beyond. The staff were there for your every desire. The food was great and you had so many choices you were bound to find something you like if you were the least bit picky.
There were activities abound. You can never get bored. I enjoyed it so much that my family plans to return for the Xmas holidays since you will be able to have minors on the South side at that point.
The best place to have a honeymoon!

When picking our honeymoon the main requirement was that the resort be an adults only and near the water so that we could have a quiet and relaxing honeymoon. We never in a million years thought that we would ever be treated with such exceptional service! Being from the food and beverage/hospitality industry we are both very scrutinizing of the level of service that we recieve whenever we go out. Aventura from the moment we set foot on the grounds amazed us. The bell boy took us on a short tour of the grounds and explained main parts of the resort to us while taking us to our room. Room service was fast and great food. When we booked out tours they worked with us to make sure that we would be able to fit everything we wanted to do into our schedule. The shows at night were entertaining and a great ice breaker to meet other people on vacation as well. When we would go to breakfast or dinner we always got great seats, and the food was wonderful. Our favorite by far though was La Hacienda, if you go ask to sit in Gilberto's section, he times the food coming out and doesn't rush you, as well as makes a great Mayan Coffee. We ate there three times over the course of our trip and each time he was wonderful! The Spa service was great as well, take advantage of the hydrotherapy it will make you feel new again! I know that it says that tips are included in the price but a dollar here and a dollar there and you'll be amazed at how fast your drinks come at the pool, a little more stiff each time. We took 100 in 1's just for that and still came back with some at the end of our 8 day trip. We couldnt think of a single thing that we would change and we are so happy we booked our trip there. We have heard that they are changing half of the resort to allow kids so we wont be going back for quiet romantic vacation but maybe when we have kids of our we'll make the trip again

My husband and I went for our honeymoon and it was amazing! The only thing I would complain about is some of the hasteling to buy into their vacation packages. But if you refuse to go to the breakfast "events" where they do their sales pitch, they do leave you alone. The hotel was clean, friendly, entertaining and romantic. The food was perfect and the booze was very high quality. Wine isn't great but other than that drinks were amazing. I would recommend to anyone.
Make sure you have prearranged transportation to the hotel from the airport!!!! They will rip you off if you take a cab.

Aventura Spa is the most beautiful resort in mexico! The staff are some of the nicest people on earth. My wife and i spent 6 nights here for our honeymoon and plan to go back every year. They include so many amenities and trips it is unreal. If you get bored here you're not human. Just the fact that you can go somewhere and not have kids screaming around you is amazing itself. We had a couples massage and it was excellent, and I don't do massages. You can sit by the many pools with bars everywhere or go out and sight see without taking your wallet! Swim with dolphins (amazing) tour Tulum (Excellent) parasail at sunset (WOW). paryt at club, meet new friends and return with them here. and OH YEH! Adults only!! We highly recomend this resort you will not be let down.
