If you can be on the inside w/balcony, very nice. On the outside you get highway noise and on Friday night it is party central for locals and the wall pound until 2am from the music. Pool and hottub very nice, fitness room very large and good selection. Food is Denny's. But nice restuarant across the street. Plenty of security and nice lounge and lobby.
Nice place to stay when fly in/out of San Jose

I was very pleased with the service and accomodations at this hotel. I satyed here one night before flying home from San Jose. I stayed in a Premiere room. I had read that only the Deluxe and Premiere rooms have been renovated. My room was quiet, clean, and looked like it had been renovated in the last few years. My only complaint was low water pressure if you wanted a hot shower. The hotel provided a free shuttle to the airport. It was close enough to the airport to only have about a 10 minute trip, but far enough away that there was no airplane noise. This hotel was located in a fairly safe area. I liked this location better than where I stayed downtown when I flew into San Jose. The downtown area was not really safe after dark.
the place was terrific-i will be back

i went to COSTA RICA for a vacation and some dental work. this was my first visit. the hotel is a short ride from the airport and they provide a free shuttle. the first thing i noticed when i arrived was the spacious open air entrance. there are several people that greet you as you arrive. as you walk in there is a gift shop to the right and bar to the left. by the way the bar serves free drinks to hotel guests from 5 to 6 every day. the hotel lobby is very large and it overlooks a very beautiful garden and pool area. my room was surprising large and it had a balconey overlooking another garden. the tennis courts were great. there are 6 computers available and i would rate them OK. next time, i am bringing my lap top. the location is excellent for business, vacation or medical tourism. one slight drawback is that is on a busy highway. but that was only during the AM and PM rush hour. i did not get 1 mosquito bite. cool nights. excellent security. very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel was noisy and smelly (smoke) the rooms are in need of a major facelift. Public area is run down. The breakfast was skimpy. Would not stay here again and would not recommended it to others.
