Fantastic, Friendly Staff. Lots of Security. Nice waitstaff both at the hotel bar and at the adjoining Denny's restaurant. Happy Hour was nice with accomodating bar staff. Rum Punch is recommended. Can't wait to return here.

the staff is so helpful and courteous. the airport shuttle is so convenient. it is fairly close to downtown. i have been staying here for 10 years and always enjoy my stay. free breakfast at denny's, free drinks in the evening. that is a $25 a day value. will stay anytime ia m in san jose.

Hotel and Casino very nice but the Resturant was a Dennys.Ugh

My family and I spent a week in Jaco, but decided to come back to the airport area on our last night so we could go to the Poas Volcano in the morning before we left. We were all very impressed with this hotel. The place was nice and clean and the front desk staff was very helpful with some things I needed.
Better than some reviews described!!!

I had read some reviews and was a little worried yet prepared. The hotel has very nice scenery if you are in the "Premium" rooms (they have just been renovated). Unlike other reviews it was not noisy. There was a smell in the rooms we could not put our finger on it, we just had the fan on all the time. I had checked out but misses my flight, had to come back and got a "standard" room. DO NOT STAY IN THOSE. They are the original rooms with very bad views and hard beds. The staff is wonderful and eager to help. There is a Denny's on the property, security is everywhere you turned but they were dressed in suits, which made it feel more upscale. Happy hour - yes its free yet a little disappointing. They have a shuttle that does rounds at the airport. I was told I had to call, and be careful there will be people outside the airport that will try and persuade you not to wait and to take a taxi which is expensive. One person told me they slow and I would sit there for another half hour - the shuttle pulled up within 5 mins. I am sure he was just trying to be helpful. But I am definately planning to stay here again...cannot wait!
