We had a wonderful time. When we arrived to the hotel to check in, we were handed a cocktail . The hotel was clean and all the workers were very helpful. I had read the terrible reviews after I had booked the reservations and was nervous but I had a great experience. PLEASE GO AND CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF.

I was wary about coming here because of the negative reviews I had read. I must say that we had an absolutely fantastic time. The room was fabulous with a great view of Los Arcos. The buffet was very, very good. The onsite restaurants were ok with the japanese and french ones being the best. The drinks were very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. None of the negative things I had read came to light. The one piece of advice I have is take american money. The exchange rate is 11 to 1 when we went. I cannot get over how beautiful this place was and how friendly the people are. I would certainly stay here again! I recommend a small bar called Hemmingways in Cabo San Lucas if you venture out. It has a humidor, live band and the best Mojitos I've ever tasted.

Great vacation spot for couples looking to get away and relax! Food was great, service was excellent and staff was very friendly and helpful! Not quite as advertised as far as activities, not as many activities included as listed in the hotel description! If you are looking for night life at the resort, this is not the place. If you are looking for a quite relaxing retreat with your significant other, you will love it here! Would recommend and would go back!

happily surprised at quality & selection of food picky eaters & kids will find something Loved choice of 3 pools:activities quiet swimup bar. Beautiful rooms and property even bathrooms! Service always friendly and prompt Would definitely stay at a RIU property again bed was NOT too hard, just firm; NO musty smell; did request king bed when we were put in room with 2 doubles pushed together. No problem changing our room. ALSO massive construction going on right behind the property Would definitely request room facing sea not noisy construction

We stayed often in the Riu Hotel in Gran Canaria. For 6 years in a row we went there around Christmas.The nicest hotel we have ever stayed in.
