Best Things Nearby:
The most popular beach, Medano Beach, is right off the resort premises. The Office is an absolute must for eating, drinking, and being merry.

Best Things About the Resort:
The VDP caters to everyone's needs. The staff is most courteous, attentive, and always greet you with a smile. The resort is well manicured. The on-site gym is a great way to start your day.

Resort Experience:
The Villa Del Palmar was pure charm. All staff members were exceptional. Their "Kids in Paradise" program is exceptional for families with young children. The resort’s pool staff (Victor, Rene, Jose, and Sandra) was quite entertaining. They continually kept the poolside active for those who wished to participate in the various poolside activities. They were also very good ping pong players, which made for some exciting and competitive games. The Bella California restaurant served an exceptional breakfast buffet. Their omelet bar allowed one to order a customized omelet to one's liking. They also made a very good oven-baked pizza.

Best Things Nearby:
Right on the swimming beach.

Best Things About the Resort:
Modern, clean accommodations.

Resort Experience:
This is a very upscale, nice resort. It is one of very few resorts right on Playa el Medano, which is the beach where you can swim. The food is very overpriced, so you can take a taxi to SuperPlaza (supermarket in town), which has a great selection and decent prices. The one-bedroom has two bathrooms, and a large family/sleeping area, so it accommodates a lot of people. Very nice!

E V E R Y T H I N G ! ! ! ! ! CABO'S DOWNTOWN IS JUST A MINUTE AWAY AND DOWN MARINA DR YOU'LL FIND A LOT OF FUN PLACES SUCH AS "EL SQUID ROW", "THE MAYBE LATER", "THE GIGGLIN' MARLIN", BOLERO(adults only), AND "CABO WABO CANTINA": GREAT NIGHTLIFE!!!

Best Things About the Resort:
MEDANO BEACH IS AT YOUR DOORSTEP AND IT ALSO FEATURES A BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF THE ARCH AND CABO'S SUNSETS.

THE SWIMMING POOLS ARE ALWAYS SAFE AND CLEAN WITH ACTIVITIES BY THE BEACH; WE ENJOYED THE HEALTH CLUB & SPA VERY, VERY MUCH!!! SINCE IT'S ALSO A GREAT SPOT TO GET AQUAINTTED WITH OTHER GUESTS.

Resort Experience:
The resort is a wonderful array of surprises for guests. You'll receive the typical warm Mexican welcome and a free breakfast, trip and tequilla---if you endure the usual timeshare presentation, which isn't that bad. If you actually make friends with the people at the resorts, management will make sure you're in for the best vacation and tour ever.

Best Things Nearby:
It is situated on a beautiful beach with a view of The Arch. All types of water activities and resturants are nearby. A variety of beach front resturants are within walking distance. A favorite is "The Office" It has a party atmosphere and has live entertainment.

Best Things About the Resort:
The resort is right on a beautiful beach. Swimming is perfect. Water taxis, parasailing, etc are available. Also there is a grocery store, laundry, and deli on the premises -- and access to internet. The hottub area overlooks the ocean and is large enough to accomodate 25-30 people. The pool area is two tiered and hosts a waterslide. There is lots of area and beach lounges for you to choose either in the sun or shade. You can also relax under an umberella on the sand beach.

Resort Experience:
Beautiful resort. The units are spacious and well-equipped. Our unit was a one bedroom with two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, three piece bath and a TV. Our balcony overlooked a small courtyard and fountain. We also had a narrow view of the ocean. We enjoyed eating our breakfast on the terrace. The living room furniture was wicker and somewhat uncomfortable but how much time do you spent inside when the ocean is at your front door! The kitchen was equiped with the necessary dishes and cutlery. It had a fridge and range top. We had daily maid service -- a must on vacation. Our towels and linens were changed daily. There is a large pool area, two hot tubs, and waterslide. The concierges are helpful, and there is full spa on site, three restaurants, nightly entertainment and a daily activity program.

VILLA DE PALMAR

Best Things Nearby:
The marina and downtown are a short 10-minute walk away. Great restaurants are also within walking distance. There are fun beach bars with nightly entertainment and happy-hour specials. You do not need a car to stay here.

Best Things About the Resort:
The unit comes with a great screened-in porch with an overhead light; you can play cards at night or just sit around and chat. We loved the fact that you could leave the patio door open to the bedroom and listen to the waves coming ashore. The unit was very nicely furnished, with comfortable beds, and there were great restaurants nearby, and a marvelous view of the arch.

Resort Experience:
The resort is a short walk down to the beach, where you can join in the fun at beach bars or rent a horse and go for a beach ride. No need to worry, as someone frequently cleans the beaches. Medano Beach has beautiful white sand and clear aqua-blue water. This is one of my favorite places and I would definitely return again.
