I have stayed at this hotel on 3 previous occasions. The staff is excellent, knowledgeable and very accommodating. This time I was fortunate to stay in one of the newly renovated rooms. Awesome bed & furnishings that made an extremely restfull stay. Besides being a great hotel, it's location is even better. A short walking distance to anything one would want to do or see in Amsterdam. They are currently in phase 2 of their renovation, however, but I was disturbed very little by the construction.

The location can't be beat. It's 5 minutes from Central Station, 3 minutes from a major tram stop, and 1 block from the Singel Canal. The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. One issue that wasn't a big deal for us could be for someone else. Our room was on the fourth floor, yet to get there we had to maneuver through a maze of hallways and two elevators to reach our floor. A small price to pay for such a comfortable hotel.

We've stayed at this hotel seven times in as many years. It is always like coming home. The location cannot be beat, and the service is truely wonderful.
