Beautiful and Friendly with Great Pool and Coffee

Stayed with the soon to be "Mom" of our new baby before things got crazy. We chose this hotel because it claimed to be "tranquil". We love to travel and stay in B&B's or family run small hotels. This is absolutely the coolest spot we have found. La Paz really lives up to it's name "the peace". We found it at this hotel. "Mom" was able to stay by the beautiful pool being card for by extremely kind staff, while I explored the "real" neighborhood surrounding the hotel. No...it's not Palm Springs...but it is a nice neighborhood with funky shops, family businesses, and a taco stand on about every corner (kept our food budget in line, and the variety is endless). 10 minute walk to the malecon. Guess we're settled in for a few cold winters in Kansas, but we'll be headed back here with our new baby in a few years. Great hotel!

I couldn't recommend this hotel to anyone! Ugh.... out of the way, in a poor area, The place is like a compound. High walls, burned out gardens, no parking, no common areas, away from shopping and beaches. Just a house that has been added on to over the years. Done cheaply! Owner seems to be in need of cash and over charges so check your bill.
