Wonderful getaway

My fiance and I stayed at the Royal Phuket as a romantic getaway, and it served that purpose very well. If youre looking to get away from it all and have the best service in Phuket, this is the place to stay. The hotel has its own private beach that is very clean and the water is crystal clear. The majority of guests are wealthy individuals and this hotel knows how to take care of them. I have traveled the world, and this was the best and most attentive service Ive ever had. They just do everything for you. The even have Mercedes and Range Rover service to the airport, their fleet has around 6 cars all owned by the hotel. The free breakfast was very good and tasty with all sorts of international treats, scones, omelets, croissants, and a variety of cheeses. For lunch we opted to go off the hotel property and just outside the gate is a little thai restaurant with very reasonable prices and great food. The only problem i had with the hotel was its location, pretty far away from Patong and any type of nightlife. We rented a car and drove into Patong at night, but it's not very close to the hotel. All in all, I would stay at this hotel again without a second thought. The grounds are immaculate, security makes you feel very safe, and staff is very accommodating. The room was amazing with an ocean view that came straight off of a postcard. The room was very private and we did not hear any noise from adjoining rooms. We just felt like honeymooners and it was really an amazing experience.

Ferringhi Beach Hotel

Ferringhi Beach Hotel

We were looking out for an hotel which was not too expensive and had adequate featutes. This is when we stumbled upon the Ferringhi Beach Hotel. The hotel is situated along the famed Batu Ferringhi beach, a perfect hideaway for holiday-makers and the businessperson looking for something not quite upmarket but able to cater to all your needs.

We reached the hotel early, much before the usual check-in time, but to our surprise, they gave us the keys without much hesitation. Our room was on the 11th floor with a partial beach view.

The room was nice and comfortable and the toilets clean. The rooms had air-conditioning, cable TV, IDD phone, mini-bar, smoke alarms, and a safe.

As for the hotel, it had many other features, like a business center, swimming pool, currency exchange, gift shop, etc. Also, it had a very convenient shuttle service to and from from the main beach and Georgetown. The dining options included the Kontiki terrace, Sunkissed bar and another speciality restaurant.

Overall, the hotel was nice, the hotel staff was helpful. Definitely a thumbs-up.
