Beautiful Beach - Fabulous People!

Week of May 16th, 2009 - we were welcomed in the lovely and breezy open air lobby with cool towels to refresh ourselves. Martin immediately took care of our needs after a 24 hour delay by the airlines. Our room in the main tower was great and I want to be sure to acknowledge the wonderful special efforts by the housekeeper. The beach and pools are perfect and Gilligans is a fun and casual restaurant/grill sitting between the two. If you are lucky Winnie will make your drinks and remember you the next day [she's been there 9 years!]. Happy hour is 2 for 1 and a fabulous local musican named Jersey Sophia will keep you moving in your seats! He made us want to come back each night so we planned our dinners accordingly. We learned many of the staff have been there for many many years and it shows! The resort was romantic, friendly and not overcome by children. The spa was beautiful, the landscaping constantly maintained and the people are just the nicest we run into anywhere. We don't usually go back to a place twice - so much to see in the world, but many many guests return here each year for the same reasons I've listed above. We may just have to do the same! I guarantee you won't be sorry if you choose to spend your time and money with the wonderful folks at the Radisson! They will make you want to come back for more, too!

It was our first time to visit Aruba....the hotel grounds were beautiful and the workers were very nice and accommodating. I was just a little disappointed in the sleeping room. It did need a little updating. Although, the room was clean. We did not stay in the main building. We were in a room with a garden view. I really like the fact that the hotel was on the beach. The beach was very clean. The food was very good but, very expensive. I recommend having a meal plan. You can easily spend $40 for 2 people just for breakfast. Although, it was just not the hotel; food is just very expensive in Aruba. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and I would definately stay there again.

We just spent 9 days at the Radisson and I have to say we were quite pleased. It is a nice property with a nice beach and pool areas.
We were fortunate that travel was down so there was no crowding at the beach or pool. Huts on the beach were always available, which can be an issue when the hotels are busy.
The staff is pleasant and quite responsive. We had asked for a refridgerator in our room and it was there in 10 minutes!
Service in the restraunts was sometims slow, but the staff was always freindly.
We would not hesitate to stay at this property again.

I stayed at the Radisson for my anniversary and it was fabulous. The rooms were clean and the people were friendly and helpful. We went to the casino and wonderful restaurants outside of the hotel. If you want to relax during the day and have fun at night. I would recommend ARUBA. Can't wait until June 09.

We start by saying this; whoever have stayed at the Raddison and did'nt have a great stay need to stand in the middle of the "MIRROR." The service was way over the top. The place was cared for around the clock including my room. The housekeeping team was on point at all times; they checked in with us throughout the day and night. The groundskeeping team was impeccable. There was no trash to be found anywhere. It reminded us of being on a military installation; very clean. Bellhops; what can we say.. there smiles, and wanting to give you the confidence you're looking for in a new place was extremly warming! THANKS! The Concierge; She was great! Never a time were we made to feel anything less than a friend. The Raddison has it all. We celebrated my 50th B-Day while on this trip. The two outdoor bars were very clean. Our room, and bed was paradise by itself, The Jazz Entertainment and breakfast was INCREDIBLE! We did'nt have the pleasure of dinning for dinner; However, We plan on doing so on the next trip. Just to walk into the casino was captivating; Teach the machines to be kinder, and the place would truly be 110% :<) One thing we must mention that was a great and a well thought out plan made with the customer in mind was enabling all charges to be charged to your room with your room credit card while on site. We did not have to carry cash or our c/cards. We paid up at check out! We will forever stay at the Raddison everytime we visit Aruba; Likewise we are telling all our friends. We are making plans to return in June or July with the SinBad Tour!!!!
