Decent, Inexpensive & Friendly

Stayed one night, party of 5 + a dog, 2 rooms (hooray for dog-friendly hotels!). The building is old-school motel-style, but the rooms appear to have been renovated sometime in the last few years and are pleasantly modern inside. Both rooms were acceptably clean but not impeccable. They were both listed as non-smoking, but had a very faint smoke smell -- enough to notice, but not enough to set off my wife's asthma, so I know it was mild. The AC unit in one room was noisy, but worked well and kept us comfortable. Service was friendly. A positive surprise: free breakfast coupons at the restaurant, even though that wasn't listed as a feature when I made the reservation. Overall a good value for the money.
