The Trump Marina is an older hotel but well kept. The rooms and hotel overall were clean. The service was MUCH better than I expected. The view of the marina was nice and calming.
it was just ok

We stayed at the Trump Marina and weren't very impressed. I've stayed at the Hilton in Atlantic City and found the standard accomodations there to be more worthwhile. The room was ok, however the air conditioning wasn't cool enough for August. Also, the bathroom and whirlpool bathtub where too small. The restaurants and bar there was much too expensive. Also, the hotel overall, wasn't all that attractive for the price. There where paint marks on the carpet in the hallway leading to our room. Our room overlooked the pool which was a mess with towels all over for the length of our stay. It was as if noone worked in that section of the hotel.

This place was the absolute worst. It looks like a run-down relic from the 70's, there's no beach, the restaurants were abominable, but the biggest disappointment of all was the staff. They were the rudest, most hostile "hospitality", didn't-want-to-be-bothered people I've ever encountered. They didn't just ignore you, they were verbally antagonistic and were visibly annoyed or apathetic if they were BS'ing with a coworker and you dared ask them something. The Trump One Rewards card never racked up anything. I even went to the desk twice. I blew hundreds of dollars and didn't earn so much as a credit for the penny slots or even a free keychain. The On Demand system in the rooms kept having glitches so you'd lose whatever movie you paid to watch then spend the rest of your stay trying to get them to take it off the bill. The bathrooms were old and gross with no ventilation. But the strongest warning I want to impart? Don't eat at the overrated Harborview "Fine Dining" restaurant. The service sucked, the hostess was a snobby bit*h and the food looked and tasted like it was being served to 90 year old convalescents. The only redeeming things were the decent pool and the good maid service. AVOID it! Pay the extra for the Borgata or a rent a place in Brigantine and travel the 5 minutes to enjoy the Deck at the Marina.
TERRIBLE PLACE TO STAY

Terrible place to stay. Way far from the boardwalk. Jitney drivers are crazy. If a large party, you need to break up party to get to destination as bus has limited capacity. Hotel bathroom smelled of urine. Pool area had no towels and staff did not care. Hair and debris in pool - no attendant. The shuffleboard floor is all full of ripples. Tennis and basketball courts are in poor shape with these rubber floor tiles missing. Terrible experience.

Got a great deal on our room so didn't expect total luxury. The casino floor was very small and there was not much to do. When we got into our room, the decor was very nice. We overlooked the bodily fluid on the window curtains and the black hairs in the bathroom and bed. When we called the front desk to ask about the jacuzzi, we were told it was on the fifth floor, and then on the sixth floor, and then we were told they did not have a jacuzzi. Upon arriving back to the room on our second day, we found fresh blood spots in the sheets and on the pillow. The room had been "cleaned" while we were out. We immediately called the front desk and after being told a housekeeping manager would come up, someone came up to change the sheets. When we called again and asked to switch rooms, we were upgraded to a suite. The suite was very nice, but we still found a hunk of hair on one of the pillows, the inside of the fridge was dirty, and the tub was stained. Luckily there were two bathrooms in the suite. The upgrade was appreciated but the suite was still not worth the money they normally charge per night. Overall, I would not return and will gladly take my chances at the Tropicana again.
