The room was nice and clean, all the staff were very knowable about the local places to eat other than the hotel. This was my second visit in six month, i will be visiting in the winter once again. Thank you

Really nice bed, heated floors (granite-marble) in large bath. This was a standard deluxe room in the mountain tower. Very clean and new feeling as far as the room and bath go and a nice view out the large window adorned with heavy drapes to shield the wind and whatever light might want to come in. The only thing I don't get is when are the casinos going to allow some ameneties for regular guests (not whales) without having to pay for everything - like a cup of coffee or use of the fitness center. Let's face it, your paying for a room over a gambling facility where the greatest liklihood is to give away money plus your paying a rate for that purpose equivalent to other hotels without gambling but with amenities. Still like it though. By the way Harvey's, put a little more effort into the elevator areas in the self parking garage, little scrufty in comparison to the overall nice appearance inside

i booked a mountain room and once i finally got to hotel the next morning i noticed i didn't have a view i expected. i was facing the west side overlooking the parking structure and the mountains which didn't belong to Heavenly. i asked the front desk if i would be able to get a view of either the lake or mountain since this trip was more for my boyfriend since he had never been here.. and he hooked it up so good! got bumped up from the 7th floor to the 18th and had a view of the Heavenly, the town and the lake! it was amazing and for just $30 more a night it was definitely worth it. when i wanted to rent a car (they have Hertz) the guy was soo friendly. i don't know what it is about Tahoe but everyone is so nice and it totally rubs off on you too. Hardrock cafe has okay food but their service is really good. i definitely recommend Womacks Texas BBQ right down the street on the same side as the casino.. it's a little pricey but soo delicious; i guarantee you'll be satisfied if you go w/ the half sampler or the brisket. As for the casino it's pretty fun but if you like craps i recommend Lake Side Inn.. they're a lot faster and get the dice rolling. Horizon offers $2 blackjack on i believe is thursday nights.. i could be wrong tho. Besides what the other casinos have to offer i have to say the hotel won me over with their customer service :) i would definitely stay there again.

Right by the slopes!

The hotel is walking distance to the Heavenly gondola, which makes it a great place to stay for skiing or hiking. The new shops and restaurants in the area are also easy walking distance. The rooms are big, clean and well updated, and the bathroom was enormous. There are several restaurant options in the property, and the underground walkway to Harrah's is great on cold, snowy nights.

Our stay was excellent except that they dont tell you that they charge $10 to use the gym. Petty, but still annoying. I hit the casino instead. Rooms are great and overall the trip was exactly what we wanted. I will definitely stay at Harveys again.
