Oasis of Calm

Stayting at this hotel and the Polanco district completely altered our experience of Mexico City. Where before we found ourselves overwhelmed by the massive city's chaos, this time we discovered an oasis of calm. The Casa Vieja is one of the most comfortable and atmospheric hotels we have ever stayed in, magnificently maintained and appointed with Mexican crafts. We were upgraded to the Frida Kahlo Suite, which boasted a lush bedroom and ample sitting area. The staff, led by Sofia Ayala, were gracious and attentive. There are only 10 rooms, but each is a treasure. Highly recommended.

My recent stay at Casa Vieja Feb 13 and 14.

I loved this small boutique hotel. The service was over the top. My daughter and I stayed in the presidental suite. It was truly amazing. The only thing I can say that was a negative was that a car was to pick us up at the airport and it did not show. We took an official taxi from the airport instead. It was a lot less expensive than if the car had shown up. While there we could not have had better service. My next trip back to Mexico City I will stay at Casa Vieja. Mary Ann Manhattan
