Please clean under the beds

  • September 5, 2008

In order to accommodate the roll away bed I moved both double beds from the center about six inches each. To my surprise I found McDonalds debris along with other debris that became visible. I asked for another room, which was two doors down that also had debris under them in less quanities than the first room. The roll away bed that I prepaid for had to be borrowed from an adjacent hotel and appeared not to have fresh linen on it. When I booked the room it had a three star rating, it should be 1/2 star. I felt that the room was over priced.

Front desk staff seemed annoyed to check us in. The room STANK of cat urine. The sink and shower didn't work properly. The beds were dirty. The pillows seemed so old that Jefferson probably slept on them. The AC unit was so loud that it woke us up every 10 minutes. The drunks in the parking lot were making noise until 2am. I had to keep looking out the window to see if my car had been stolen. And for this they charged $*! If it hadn't been so late and I wasn't so tired I would have (and should have) left as soon as I opened the door! My advice: sleep in your car, it is better than this place!

STAY AWAY

Stayed there June 8 & 9. The staff at the desk was very friendly. There were no wash cloths in the room. Found two wash cloths on the shower curtain rod from the previous guests. One had a live roach in it. Two of the four lights in the room did not light. Some one from the staff checked on the room condition at approximately 3:00 PM on the 9th and we requested clean towels and wash cloths only (no need to make the beds). It never happened.

Tired but adequate

Outside entrance to all rooms which are tired. Sink is in exposed alcove. Exterior door moves the whole wall as it is closed. Heat/ac cycles on/off, radically changing noise level in room. All other is just as expected.
