Very convenient, very friendly

This is my favourite at Helsinki Airport. Again, when I visited in February, it was like coming home. They picked me up from the Airport with a mini-van which runs every 20 min. in the evenings, but as my flight arrived early afternoon, I phoned them from the airport, a very courteous young man, picked me up.
The check-in was efficient, the room was comfortable, very clean and quiet, and the dinner at the restaurant very tasty. They do not serve lunch, but as I was hungry on arrival, I was offered a choice of sandwiches and beverages, as well as suggestions of restaurants at the close-by mall. Breakfast is not included in room rates, as in many Finnish hotels, however, the buffet they serve is excellent, well worth the EUR 10.
The location of the hotel is great, as it is only a short drive from the airport, in a residential area, with shops etc. at the mall within a walking distance. There is a bus from the hotel to Helsinki city, but as I need to visit Espoo and Vantaa, as well as to fly to Oulu, this is a perfect base for me. I usually rent a car from the hotel. Parking there is free for the residents.
The hotel is not de-luxe (except their service), but they have all you need at very affordable price.
