By the E18, 10 minute drive outside Oslo. Easy to get there, car is recommended, but several buses passes the Hotel frequently.
Hotel is mostly used for meetings, bus tourists stop there, and other short stays.
The road is heavily trafficked during day time, but the rooms are on back of the hotel, and I think noise should not be problem for anyone.
It is nothing to do there, or noting to see, so not very exciting.
Hotel:
I stayed for three days, and that was way to long tome in this hotel.
Quite Old and tired, need a total make over. In side and out side.
The room I got was small, normal Nordic room size, furniture was tired, the beds hard, and not very comfortable, unless you are used to sleeping outside on the ground. There was also a tiny pillow in my bed, way to small and thin for me, so I went to ask for a new one, but that I could not get because the hotel was full!!! What was that? I have never experienced this before.
The staff in the reception were nice enough, but not very service minded, when I checked in, I had booked (and paid for) a double room, but they wanted to give me a single. So it took some time.
The breakfast was OK, but some milk was expired, and the bacon looked boiled, not fried.
Price was low, $110 night in the weekend, early booked, but I have seen prices there three times higher weekdays.
Conclusion: do not stay there unless you have to.
