A Terrible Experience

I stayed at Pearl Continental in Feb 2008 even though my friends suggested me to stay at the Sheraton. I realized that I had made a mistake already when my airport pick up was missed. I had to take a cab to the hotel. I entered the lobby and it was a chaos. All I could see was more staff in the lobby rather than guests. The staff from reception was shouting all the way to the bell desk and talking amongst themselves rather than paying attention to the fact that I had come to check in. When they finally attended to me, they checked me into a twin bedded room which was very annoying. The dinner I ordered from room service took 40 mins to reach me and was cold. I would not recommend anyone going to Karachi to stay at this hotel.

faucets were rusty, mildew around sinks view from the window was disgusting, TOO many people ringing the doorbell, a pressing iron missing from room, weighing scale was dysfunctional.no electrical socket in restroom, , room itself was kinda small.no computer in the room.a person ringing the bell in morning was told twice to leave me alone but he kept ringing the bell, bananas in the fruit basket were rotten before I unwrapped the plastic film of the basket., in the restaurant at lobby level, ice cream order takes 40 minutes to arrive.Even local calls were charged ,
