Pueblo Bonito Blanco

Best Things Nearby:
The town is a quick 10 -15 minute walk by the road or 20 minutes by way of the beach. There you will find many restaurants, souvenir shops, grocery stores, and night spots. Blanco is right on the beach where you can find restaurants and vendors for parasailing, waverunning, glass bottom boat tours, etc. The Office, four minutes away, is the best and most friendly restaurant. We enjoyed many dinners and snacks there. At high tide they have to move the tables and chairs back so they don't wash away.

Best Things About the Resort:
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The on site activities were great. There is a young kids activity time in the morning, cooking and dancing class, a welcome party, bingo by the pool and water activities. The pool volleyball was our favorite. Every afternoon we played an organized water volleyball game and the winning team won a free drink.(Non alcoholic for the teens.) It was a great way to exercise, get tan, keep cool and meet people while having a wonderful time. The units were very large and clean. There was maid service daily. Bottled water isn't needed since they have water purification throughout the resort and in most others.

Resort Experience:
It was a great vacation for both of us. We wished my older son had been able to come. See - The Experience in "Cabo's Hot for Teens too!" for more info!

You could tell this was one of the older resorts, but it was clean! A little on the small side, but our room had a great view of the Sea of Cortez.

Best Things Nearby:
Beach, downtown, snorkeling, parasailing, horseback riding, and RTVs.

Best Things About the Resort:
Centrally located.

Resort Experience:
Our view from our room was breathtaking. It was very clean, and the service and housekeeping were great. We kept our patio door open every evening, the sound of ocean waves was very relaxing to wake up to every morning. It was just peaceful and a wonderful experience. Didn't need our A/C in the evening. Very comfortable, and a nice ocean breeze. That was great.

Best Things Nearby:
Playa Medano with lots of restaurants within walking distance. Not too far to town as we had a car.

Best Things About the Resort:
Near town. Comfortable rooms with great views. Friendly staff. We liked the size as though large it is not too imposing, which we found the newer Rose next door

Resort Experience:
Everything about the resort is bright and sparkling clean. The pool was never too crowded when we were there and small kids tended to stay at one end. There are flamingoes in an enclosure at one end of the grounds and two pools with lots of fish (carp, I think). The food in the restaurants was good, though we tended to eat downtown at night. The hotel staff organised activities in and round the pool. It looked as if everyone had a great time, though we didn't take part.

Best Things Nearby:
El Archo, "The Office" beachside restaurant, Cabo Wabo Cantina, shopping.

Best Things About the Resort:
Friendly, courteous service. Very clean. Good food at the restaurants.

Resort Experience:
Pueblo Bonito is a very nice resort. It is oceanfront and has everything you need- restaurants, pool, gym, spa, tennis, scheduled activities, and best of all- perfect weather. It rarely rains there, so you are virtually assured nice weather.

This resort is maybe 10 years old, and there is a new Pueblo Bonito Rose right next door. Either resort would be a good choice.
