Nice Hotel but Intolerant

The hotel is fine, the staff is a little stiff, but they do seem willing to help with cabs or dinner reservations. Must ring a bell for door access after Midnight. Large, roomy bathrooms. Room decor is modern, but our room had several semi-repaired items (hole in doors, cabinets, etc.).
Great place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. They gave us an upgrade from the standard room and it was perfect. It was clean and comfortable. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Room srevice was very good too! Fantastic location!

The Swissotel Amsterdam provides friendly, competent service, occassionally going out of their way to follow-up on requests such as restaurant suggestions, etc. The location is very convenient to central trams and tourist areas, and it is also within walking distance of the central train station.
