Wonderful London Accommodation

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in late July with my Marriott rewards points. Upon confirming my reservation I was offered to upgrade to a river view room with lounge access (I'm only silver elite so don't regularly get access) for 30 pounds. I decided to decline the offer at that time. However, at check-in the same offer was extended to me at a rate of 50 pound per night. The inconsistency quickly became a concern for me and I therefore declined the upgrade at that time as well. I was assigned river view room with spectacular view of Big Ben, Thames River and the London Eye! The hotel appeared to be pretty full so they were probably counting on me accepting the upgrade yet I declined and was still given the upgraded room.
The room was very spacious and I must mention the beds were amazing! On my first day I went back to sleep twice before finally waking up! My room contained a spacious full marble bath and a seperate dressing area. I didn't use the internet as it was costly, so I can't comment on that.
The hotel was spotless for the most part, however I felt the health club could have been maintained better. The health club does indeed have the largest pool in a London hotel. The cardio equipment was 7-8 years old and is in need of replacement. The strength equipment was brand new Technogym (highend line) and I assume the hotel intends to upgrade the cardio equipment in the future.
While one shouldn't expect service like at the Four Seasons, this hotel is amazingly well run. Every single staff member was polite and quickly responded to any requests I had.

The hotel is located under the "London Eye", but you have to walk a little long to reach to your room for this beatiful scene from the elevator. :), but keeps you fit and fresh.
The breakfast is one of the best in Europe, if you think that we are turkish and loves breakfasts and brunches.
The concierge service is excellent on your request, like booking for a dinner, shopping help etc.
We are satisfied in our stay and recommend strongly

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at the London County Hall Marriott. The location of the hotel cannot be beaten, not can the views of the Thames, Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament and the Lonond Eye. We used Marriott rewards points for this stay. The rooms were significantly larger than the average London room, the bed was heavenly. The hotel staff were consistantly pleasant, professional and helpful, especially the concierge. We never ate in the hotel restaurants, but used the concierge lounge daily for breakfast and then evening drinks. I would recomend this hotel to anyone looking for a central location to explore London from.

We arrived after a long flight from the states. We were told the room would be ready in an hour, and after settleing into the lounge with some coffee, they came and told us our room was ready. We arrived upstairs on the 6th floor with a karge room and a view of the Thames and Big Ben. Everytime we left or arrived we were greeted by a staff member. It was a great stay and would recommend it to anyone. The only negative was the price we paid for Internet access. It was 15 ponds for 24 hours and it should be included for the price you pay for the hotel.
Fabulous!

My two daughters and I vacationed in London. This hotel was located right in the heart of everything! The staff were friendly and very helpful. I have already told friends they must stay here, and I intend to stay at this hotel when we return to London. The only negative was the buffet breakfast. It was a little expensive for the amount we ate.
