2nd Wedding Anniversary

We stayed there May 28 till May31 2009 and we had a BALL. Rick and Ray Thank you for all that you did to make our stay an enjoyable and relaxing time. There is no reason to leave the Island. Parked right in front of our room and everything is in walking distance from the site. The only problem we had was the directions Map Quest gave us....took us hours out of our way. Call the hotel for directions and save yourself gas and time. Thanx again for everything, we will be back.

we were greeted instantly this trip was like home away from home that is if home was heaven very impressed and will be booking there my next vacation
Perfect Hideaway!!

My girlfriend and I spent one night here for her birthday. We stayed in the New Bedford Room which was perfect for us. We had our own private patio table the overlooked the lit palm trees and time square. The service was perfect. The owners continually checked to make sure our stay was pleasurable. This place is the closest to a feeling of Key West than anywhere on Fort Myers Beach. They have a dog(tipsy) and cat(marley) that are roaming the resort and very friendly. Even after our stay was complete and check out was made they let us keep our car parked there for the whole afternoon. I will not stay anywhere else now when spending a couple of days on Fort Myers Beach. This is a little gem within all the typical hotels you can stay at. Thanks for everything X and X. We will see you again soon.
Would Not Stay Again

The owners were very friendly. The hotel was not very restful. Loud music played outside even if you did not want it. The toilet near our bed ran all night and continued after the owners were informed. One bedroom had a wall plug that did not go into the wall. Bare hot wires were exposed close to the bed.

I booked this week for a couple of friends and they had a wonderful time - easy walking distance to beach, stores and trolley...hotel owners were very friendly and helpful even let the boys use their own grill one night for grilling...nice clean room and quiet area...did not need to have a car as most every thing was within walking distance so if you just want to get away for a week or so this is the place to go without the hassle of a car - about 20 miles from the airport and a nice taxi ride....
Trip was so nice that we booked for Christmas week this year so will be a nice romantic getaway in winter....nice job Rick and Rae on your renovations!!!
