Great for short stay

The hotel might look a bit old-fashioned amongst all the shiny new buildings, but we liked our sea view and especially the ability to walk to the new Museum of Islamic Art and the souk. We soon learnt to cross the road at the lights, the traffic really tore along and didn't always stop at the red.
Our visit coincided with a cold spell, and there was no heating in the room. We requested a heater and one came almost immediately, it was very effective. The housekeeping was excellent, producing more water or tea or towels promptly.
My experience in the souk enabled me to negotiate an excellent rate for a late checkout. I didn't have my computer, but I thought the internet access was very expensive when I used the business centre. We did enjoy the breakfast, but again, it was expensive.
The hotel suited us very well on our short stopover.
