This is a historic and excellent choice in Makati

I lived in Makati City for 6-months during 2008/2009 as an American Expatriate and I stayed here during March 2009 for 2 weeks - If you're an American, staying here or the Makati Shangri-La are your only two options if you want things to U.S. standards, trust me! The rooms are all very modern, I even had an LCD TV. All rooms on the west wing were recently remodeled and the east wing was being completed while I was there. The food was outstanding; although, when I did order bacon on a sandwich they simply placed several strips of straight up fat, yuck! I had my hair cut there and lounged around by the pool, both were great. I used the hotel Nissan drivers to take me to work and back in Alabang, no issues.
