Honeymoon

We stayed at the Flamingos for our honeymoon April 2008- make sure you do the ALL INCLUSIVE, it was so expensive the other way- they stock your room with food and if you eat anything, they do bill you but don't tell you how much it is- a candy bar was nearly $5.00 and a can of coke was $3.50! We went down to breakfast and ordered toast, bagel, 2 cups of coffee and 1 glass of juice that was $33.00! We couldnt believe it, we had these strange little bugs on our kitchen counter even after the maid came and cleaned daily, not sure what they were. It IS a beautiful hotel and location from what we've seen when we were there, would give it a 2nd chance but would change to the all inclusive next time we go.

Our time there was GREAT!!

The staff was extremely friendly. They always made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were terrific. The view was Awesome!!!! If your looking for nightlife you don't want to stay in Nuevo Vallarta. But if your looking to relax enjoy the beach, pool and just have a nice time I would recommend staying at the Flamingos.

we are going back,

Family of four, just wanted to get away from the cold, we decided to try Nuevo Vallarta and stayed at Villa del Palmar Flamingos. We decided to boogie board (first time). Perfect waves for beginners. I was not worried at all with my tiny 11 year old girl. The beach gradually gets deeper and no undertowe. By the end of our trip there were other people boogie boarding. I guess they saw how much fun we were having. We borrowed the boogie boards from the hotel. Every morning (we stayed on the 6th floor) we could see a family of dophins jump and play. They were also closed by one time when we were boogie boarding. We did not eat at Villa del Palmar because we had a complete kitchen in our room. We went to Mega, it is like Super Target except they have more things to offer and picked out stuff we wanted to eat. We did a day trip to Sayulita too which is 20 to 30 minutes away. I highly recommend visiting just to see how Puerto Vallart used to be and if you want to learn how to surf. The beach in front of the hotel, you could walk in either directions for miles. Aside from a complete kitchen, our room has a wash and drier too. The pool is heated and they have a hot tub close to the beach. Timeshares staff, if you tell them nicely and firmly you are not interested, they let you be. In conclusion, great place to stay and not congested as some resorts. I have recommended this resort to my friends and they are booking their vacations now.

Vacation and TIMESHARE From HELL For All

NEVER GO HERE We own a timeshare at this hotel from hell. It is our 4th try in 11/2 years. Every time we go it gets a little worse. We are in the process of trying to get our money back. We are looking for other owners to join us in the fight so we can show them that lying chaeting and stealing does not pay and does not make happy owners. Check out the bath towels in the penthouse. 5 star????I don't think so.
