Do NOT stay at Atlantic Tower (aka Liverpool Thistle)

POSITIVES - My view was excellent (from the 10th floor), and the location was good.
NEGATIVES - The hotel is very dated and in dire need of renovation. The rooms are very small and give you a feeling of uncleanliness. The hotel staff is extremely cold. The breakfast is mediocre at best. At one point, I asked one of the cleaning staff members for some clean towels, and to my horror, she took towels that appeared to be quite fresh and laid them on the floor in the hallway as she grabbed hand and face tools to stack on top of them.
IN SUMMARY, I have stayed in hundreds of hotels a wide range of hotels all over the world, and this one ranks as one of the five worst I can remember.
