Our registration process was the finest yet. We were asked to sit at one of four beautiful desks where we were served our beverage of choice from a nice tray. The process was as "quick" as can be properly accomplished with accuracy. Our room was typical..........nothing spectacular...........I was disappointed, however, to not have coffee in the room; but a pound of coffee which could be purchased. This was tacky. I brought my own ground "Peets" coffee; however, the TSA took it from my suitcase for no good reason. I was fortunate, though, because a lovely Mexican breakfast buffet was included in the travel website price...........so I did get to enjoy my morning coffee along with my delicious breakfast. I was disappointed that the advertised "infinity pool" was not on the grounds; but next door at Los Arcos; and we weren't allowed to use that pool. Bummer. The hotel was nice, as was the deli and market nearby........but because of the room coffee situation.........a little below my standards.

Great Location- on Medano Beach and close to Town

We stayed at Estancia in September (off-season) and got a great deal on a 2BR 3BA 2100 SQ foot suite. The rooms and the property are beautiful and well kept. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool is nice but somewhat quiet as far as Cabo standards. We were the loudest, rowdiest group by far and we are all in our 40's. Drinks at the pool are not cheap but they were cool with us bringing our own and even gave us ice for our beer!

Here is a video that shows lots of clips of the rooms and pool-

A lot of the units are owned by single parties (not timeshares) and we found that by negotiating directly with them it's easy to get a good deal. Craigslist and Ebay are a good place to find owners with units for rent. Avoid the brokers if you can and talk to owners for the best deals.

beautiful accomodations, a total farce, bogus charges everywhere

accomodation are gorgeous, but it is all about money. The all inclusive plan is a joke. You could only choose from 2 resteraunts and there was only 4 items on the menu you could have. The good stuff was extra. Gratuities added at will. Would never go back!

Had a wonderful time

This was our first time at this hotel. We were very pleased with our stay. The staff greeted us warmly throughout our stay. We stayed in a 2 bdrm suite which was very comfortable and very roomy. There is a pool area, but we preferred to sunbath on the beach. The only frustrating part was with the many vendors walking up and down the beach. Don't let this discourage you, however. The hotel is close to town by foot or taxi. Everyone was so kind and friendly. We had a great time and would definitely go back again. As a matter of fact, we're looking forward to it.
