The one bedroom villa we stayed in was very clean and quite large. I would've packed differently had I known we had a washer and dryer in our unit. Service was impeccable throughout with one exception. Don't eat dinner at La Casona. Our waiter was horrible and so was the food, not to mention very overpriced. Breakfast, however was very good, but still pricey. The king sized bed was like sleeping on a slab of cement, no give whatsoever, and you could feel the springs on the pullout sofa. Those would be the only things I'd change. There's a market, deli, video store (bring your own videos) and a laundry on the property. Everything you need is right on the property and food at the grill by the pool is very good. Do go to the spa, it's well worth it. Overall, a great place!

A gorgeous facility in the perfect location! The pool was gorgeous. The view was spectacular and the location was perfect. We could walk to town on the beach but we weren't in the middle of the spring break crowds. We ate at the poolside restaurant which was great. There weren't many; other options. We traveled with two teenage kids and we booked many activities through the hotel. Our only complaint was we waited three hours for our luggage to be brought up and when I went to get it , it was still on the street.

This hotel was beautiful! The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The acitivies desk had all the excursions we wanted and they called and booked all of them for us. We were never harassed about going to the time share presentations. The pool area and hot tubs were amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The towels were a little itchy and rough but the beds were okay. The view of the beach and ocean were amazing from the hotel. This hotel is in the best part of town. It's not too far from downtown and it has a great spot on the beach. The hotel food is okay, expensive for what they offer. It's better to eat in the local restuarants. The food is cheaper and so much better. It's quiet at night, not a lot of spring breakers around. I had a great time and would definetly go back to this hotel!
Loved it!!!

I just returned from Cabo yesterday. It was my first visit and I absolutely loved my stay at Villa La Estancia. Two of my friends and I stayed in a double queen bed hotel room and there was more than enough space for the three of us! Contrary to other reviews, we had no problem with the housekeeping staff. Our balcony was spacious with a great view. Nice place to enjoy the scenery and have a light breakfast. The market on the property was very convenient and has just about anything that you would need. The hotel was in a prime location. I couldnt imagine a better vacation!!!!
The hotel staff is also very helpful with the planning of tours. I recommend Costa Azul Zip Lining, Pez Gato Snorkeling Tour and Cabomar Salsa Dinner Cruise!!
The pool area was very nice. The pool temp was very nice and there were three jacuzzi's to choose from. There is a direct entrance to the beach from the hotel. There are several vendors on the beach, but you must keep in mind that this is a tourist city. The locals are simply trying to make money for their families. There is an area on the beach roped off for hotel guests and the vendors will not bother you beyond that point.
Only ate at the restaurant once and it was ok... Not spectacular. I enjoyed meals in town... You have to try La Palapa... friendly staff, great food!!! Also, enjoyed Pepe's Tacos.
Overall, I loved it!!!!

Had a two bedroom/3 bath and the condo was very nice and spacious.. Balcony was very nice with a good view of the ocean. Maid only came by the day we were checking out and left an empty envelope under the door with a thank you on it. She never even came and took out the trash. Not much service there. Bar area and hot tubs were really nice and staffed adequately. Could never get in the ocean because of rip tides every day. Cruise ship view gets pretty old. Cabo water is not very clear and the sand on the beach is more like crushed rock. Great place for marlin fishing and sitting at your hotel. Mixed drinks at bars ran about 9 bucks. Way too much. We had fantastic food at Maro's Shrimp House and Pepe's Tacos. Estancia is nice but not worth the price. We have much better times in Turks and Caicos and even Playa Del Carmen. This condo was over priced for a week. Time shares will eat you up in Cabo and sales people on the beach selling trinkets are enough to make you throw sand on them. And I'm pretty calm for about the first 200 salesman.
